Hi :) You will have to re-install windows fresh from the beginning. Make sure the windows CD is a full install copy and not a upgrade copy and put it in the CD player then reboot the computer and go into the Bios and have the computer boot from CD ROM reboot and the computer. It will start to load the program. when it ask to install new copy of windows say yes and fallow the questions and answer them.Make sure you have the install KEY for Windows ussaly on a sticker on the computer tower

Why did u format the disk ?
if you are not clear of how to do it never venture into the area...
guess your system was with preloaded Win7,
the Win7 disk that you have(came along with the PC hope so...) is ment only as a system restore disk. it will only work if you have created a system image or a system restore point from the control panel when you bought the system new...
the only option now for you is to buy a new Win7 disk (bootable disk) full version from a PC shop and use that to boot the PC from BIOS (set the CD Rom to boot as 1st device in BIOS)
only upon that your system will fully get restored.....

the second option is little complicated....(but cheaper if you have a WinXP boot disk)
i wont recomend for that as i will have to go step by step for that wth you.
