I cant get my cpu to overclock. I made the multiplier 10x, cpu frequency 270.0 and the volt +20 in the bios. When i boot up and get into XP, i load cpuz and it sais the multiplier 11x and the cpu freq is 2210(stock). While those 2 are left the same, the core volts is higher. So some of the settings in bios arent working. Here is the cpuz file for you to look at, it shows all the info on my computer.

Yes if the motherboard supports overclocking, but you should be very careful not to burn your processor.

this depends on what cpu you have and what bios version you have from asus.

Try clearing the CMOS (CMOS reset)...and restoring defualt bios

some pentiums are locked at the set speed but there are no jumpers you have to alter the settings are in the bios eg the timing and there may be step ups to increase the processor speed, but remember you get far faster response times by fitting more memory as overclocking can cause overheating and crashes.
