If you are still having an issue with resolution, check the computer system's specs to see what is driving your display. I have my princeton 173 running on XP. My system display source (hardware) is and nVidia 8800 GT video card. I have to correct motherboard driver installed, and I have the correct nVidia software downloaded and installed.My Princeton VL173 will support 1280 by 1024 running it at 32 bit color at 96 dpi. I'm running it at 1024 x 768, 32 bit color, 96 dpi.

It wants you to set your PC video resolution to the native resolution of this monitor. Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current, long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.
