I have a sanyo vpc-e760. everytime i connect it to the computer it says "computer connecting...". so my guess is that its not fully connecting to the computer because i'm using videoimpression 2 and i try to get it to get a live feed from my camera it says it can't find a video device. but i can still record and get sounds from the camera. can u help me get to were it will get a live feed from the camera?

It may be much easier to just buy a $10 memory card reader for your computer that accepts the CompactFlash (CF) card. Take the card from your camera and slip it into the card reader whenever you want to transfer pictures.
