Hi,
SAP (Second Audio Program) may be turned on. This used to be a widespread RCA problem maybe caused by incorrect conversion of analog signals for viewing as phony HD images. Costly class action lawsuits addressed the problem in USA. Most of the specific equipment causing the problem used by broadcast/production/satellite industries was either adjusted correctly or replaced. If the problem re-occurs, it may caused by specific TV channels or programs that you watch. Codes inserted in the signal are incorrect and confusing the RCA TV Guide and audio processing circuits. The error causes SAP to be incorrectly selected as default for all channels.
Remedies:
Change audio settings in customer adjust menu to Stereo from SAP. Sometimes the On screen TV Guide set-up must be cleared of location, etc., and set-up again.
Sometimes it is difficult to set correctly. Unplug TV for 12-24 hours and TV may reset to default stereo setting instead of SAP.
This was an active Class Action legal issue 10-15 years ago in the USA.
