You do not require any Princeton software. I have the same display. What I needed was the correct driver for my system, and the correct software installed to support my video card (nVidia 8800GT).

My display can handle up to 1280x1024 resolution at 32 bit color, and does it very well. I run it at 1024x768, 32 bit color, and 96 dpi. Not bad for a 12 year old display! I had a power supply (AC adapter) go out a while back.

I am now using a power supply from an old HP printer that I got rid of. The plugs are the same, and the "Power Output" rating are almost identical (only very slightly different). My display is still kicking. I'm a computer graphic artist and a photographer. The work I've turned out the past few years with this display is impressive.
