New mp3 player budddy sandisk is real old now try an ipo touch 8gb/16 gb or an apple item those come in handy and u can do manyt other things like surf the web and play apps(like call of duty zombies deadrising) ect. :) hope this helps
You can't augment the internal memory, short of replacing the entire motherboard. And if you're going to take the innards out of another Sansa, why don't you just use that other Sansa instead?
You can add memory in 2GB chunks by using microSD cards. Photos and videos must be in the 2GB internal memory, but any music you put into a MUSIC folder on the card will appear and play on the Sansa. By putting different albums (or sets of albums) on different cards, you can easily switch between them.
Be sure you use microSD cards, not microSDHC cards.
