Hp psc 2355 printer, error code 0xb9000002, 165:hw_interrupt_hwv2.c

I moved the printer to a different area of living rooom, and when I plugged it back in now I get this same thing happening! I can't turn off power, and do anything.

mine HP was acting the same way after a jam. I contacted hp and they told me it was a hardware issue and that I would need to purchase a new printer. I found a KB on thier site for this issue. It involved removing both ink carts and then reseting the printer with the ink carts out. it seemed to work.

Issue The product displays an 0x ... error code when printing (for example Error: 0xf0af8004 ). These error codes indicate that the product has an internal condition. Solution Use the instructions below to resolve the issue by restarting the product.

1. Disconnect the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable from the back of the product, but leave the product turned on.
2. Open the cover of the product and remove the print cartridges.
3. Close the cover and wait for the Insert Ink Cartridges message to display.
4. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product and wait for one minute.
5. Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button.
6. Open the cover and reinsert the print cartridges.
7. Close the cover. If prompted, print a calibration page.
8. Reconnect the USB cable, and try to print a print job from the computer.

Printer status offline means that, the printer driver and the application has been installed, but the printer and it spooler services are idle

To resolve this issue:

Goto control panel, click on printers and faxes, a window will open showing you all the printers you have or have had. The current printer will have a checked mark. Highlight it and right click, you will see printer offline in the box, click it. That will turn the printer online and you can print.

Please perform the steps below and check

1. Right click on My Computer and go down to Properties.

My Computer is usually on your desktop or in the Windows Start menu. Click on the Advanced tab at the top of the screen.

2. Under the Performance section, click on Settings.

3. Click on the Advanced tab.

4. Under Processor scheduling click on Background Services. Click on Ok then Ok again.
