Hi, I have problem with my Polycom VSX7000. I'm trying to connect through ISDN with other country. When i call the number i get info, that there is internal error and the connection will not be established - number and prefixes are ok (I connect with them through other system). Software release is 9.0.6.Anyone had similar problem ? Best regards, Jacek

SOURCE: Can not able to dial out any number from Polycom VSX 7000.

Check out the following things:-

1. When dialing a ISDN number, be sure that the call preference has not been set to IP H.323 on the home screen just below the dialing field.

2. Check with your service provider that outwards dialling have been enabled on the lines provided to you.

SOURCE: polycom VSX7000 video camera

Hi there:

This happened to my VSX camera and the fix was simple. I have a VSX 8000 so if your camera is different then mine you might not be able to follow this. This might not work for you but, try it. On the back of the camera you'll find a small little screw. Keep the system on and watch your cameras image. Start to loosen the screw. You'll only have to do it a little bit and the camera should start to focus again. Tighten the screw up (maybe not as tight as it was before) and test to see if it's auto focusing. Also....manually moving the camera around while it was on could have helped as well. Finally....I did not have to do this but if it is not working simply by loosening the screw...I would take it all the way out and remove the little cover or hatch that it holds. Poke around in there a little bit to see if the the focus motor unsticks itself. If you are still under warranty (I was not) don't do this...call the vendor who sold it to you.

Mine's working great now simply by loosening this little screw and tightening it back up.

SOURCE: Polycom VSX7000, do you have to suscribe to

No, you do not need to subscribe. Are you sure your a/v cables are connected properly? You might also check on your video source and make sure you are in the correct source.
