When i type a message to a contact, it does not show up in the chatbox, and when they sent me a IM it does not show in the chatbox. how do i fix this?

Thefirst thing to check is to make sure you have scripting enabled in InternetExplorer. Internet Explorer is integrated into Yahoo Messenger so things thatgo wrong with IE can affect Yahoo Messenger.
