look on sewusa.com they have pictures of machines and threading diagrams. they don't list good housekeeping machines but good housekeeping doesn't make sewing machines; they just re-label someone elses look at the pictures of other machines and see if you can find one that matches yours.
Probably needs a good cleaning and oiling. I'm not familiar with this machine, but it sounds like an older machine, right? In general, older, all metal, mecanical sewing machines are just wonderful to sew with.

hello inside the machine theres is circuit board at the bottom there might be a glass fuse on the board which might have blown make sure the power is off before you check it good luck
clean up time use a product to remove calcium how many time i saw that calcium ruining very good machine hard water is a killer of those beloved machine dont use vinegar not strong enough and dont forget to rinse the machine very good that stuff is very corosif dont forget to rate this good luck cheers
