Connect your phone via PC Suite. There is a button in PC Suite with Down Arrow Icon and if you put your cursor there you'll see "Update Phone Software". Click this icon and it will give you notification weather your software update or not. You must connect the internet to do this.
The phone usually have application to update software, see in your Application folder.
