Setting Top of Form, Forms Tear-Off ON (Step A) ! If you turn the platen knob when the printer is turned on, you will cause the Top of Form to mis-align. Always turn the printer off before turning the platen knob! 1 Turn the printer ON. 2 Park the paper. 3 With paper out of the unit, (red alarm light should be on) press SHIFT (1) and QUIET/TOF (5) to reset the current Top of Form. 4 Press FF/LOAD (3) to load the paper. 5 Press SEL/MENU (6) to take the printer off line. The SEL light goes out. 6 Wait until the paper moves up to the tear position, then press and hold TEAR (4). The paper moves to the current Top of Form. Keep pressing and holding TEAR. If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response Thanks, Joe

It sounds like it needs to be re gapped. Try this:
1. Make sure that printer power is off.
2. Press and hold the feed button.
3. Turn printer power on.
4. When the status light blinks, release
the feed button.
5. The printer advances the media to
measure and verify the length of
individual labels or tags. The printer
then prints a status summary and
remains in diagnostic dump mode.
6. To begin normal operation, tap the
feed button. The printer prints "out of
DUMP" and advances a label.

Which quickbooks are you using? Which platform (Vista, XP etc) If you have Vista, only QuickBooks 2008 and 2009 will work.

heres is a reason and a tips, maybe you are using a driver of your printer, then check it on your control panel in Printer, number 2 is it might the printer head ribbon have a problem... this time you are going to check the printer physically inside... and have some self test print to recognize that the problem in the printer not the computer...

Sounds as if the format is wrong. You must set the paper format in the PC wordprocessor or invoicing software to the same size as the actual paper size of the invoice.

Make sure that neither the printer or the driver are set to draft mode.
Also make sure that no one changed the form content to decrease the size and density of the lines.
