That motherboard doesnt support ATA it supports upto 6 SATA devices which is actually better and faster. You will need to take your DVD/RW back and ask to swap for a SATA and also make sure you buy a SATA cable and good thing is these are actually cheaper and faster. This mother board uses SATA you have 6 SATA connections for Hard drive etc.
best to buy a SATA dvd burner and move away from IDE sata is faster and not too expensive.
