To open the shaver body, you will first need to gently pry off the 'cap' on the bottom that surrounds the hole where the cord plugs in. Once removed the side grips will pull off revealing 4 screws. Remove screws to take off back cover and access insides. Inner parts simply lift out. Reassemble in reverse order

Unfortunately this is almost impossible. The batteries are part of the circuit board, and Braun only authorize their service agents to replace the whole unit, and my local agent found that it had been discontinued. If you still want to have a go, two screws are hidden beneath the two grey plastic caps either side of the charging socket on the underside of the shaver which can be prized off quite easily. Once you have removed the screws, the small plastic section comes off. Now you can slide the outer casing off. A thin black cover at the back can then be unclipped, revealing the circuit board and batteries. The whole unit simply lifts out and would be easy to replace if you could find one! Rplacing the batteries would be far more difficult and risky. Good luck.

Remove the two screw covers on the bottom of the shaver and then remove the screws underneath. Once screws are removed, the outer case will slide off from the bottom. You will then have access to the insides and the batteries.

Start by removing the foil and cutter. To open the shaver body, start by removing the two round screw covers on the bottom by prying them out. Then remove screws. The insides of the shaver can then be slid out through the top. Batteries simply unsnap from their connectors. Install new batteries and reassemble in reverse order
