Hello. I am getting a "Bad Disc" error when trying to load a disc in the player. It tries to load for about 30-45 seconds and then the error appears. This is occurring on ALL discs. This just started an hour ago. I was watching an episode on a disc. Then when finished I tried to start the next episode. It would not start so I opened/closed the tray and retried, and then shut the player down and retried. No matter what disc I put in however, I get the same error and I know the discs are good.
Are they disks you burnt?
Id say the laser is no good,if its still under warranty,take it back,if its not,maybe time to update?

No, they're store-bought DVD movies (X-Files, Star Wars, etc).
