try to update for a game then game froze turned off system then turned back on got white screen saying put disc in and i do then it trys to load and the contrller is not connecting

it froze during an update? that can mean that the update was corrupted and needs to be deleted but if (all updates) are deleted does give the game a slight chance to not be able to restore old game files of that game if its a new game then no harm done you can't lose save files
