Yes, now it is possible to get an sms if someone tries to access your gmail account. Just go to your gmail account settings and enable "using 2-step verification". After enabling this feature you can't login to your gmail account only using correct password. You need your mobile phone or you have to use some other recovery options. even if someone knows ur account password they can't login without your mobile, and also u ll get an secret code when someone tries to login with your correct password....
