MD660A Memory problem

My MD660A MP3 Player says it's memory is full, but there is absolutely nothing on it! Can anyone help me solve this problem?

  • Anonymous Nov 12, 2008

was working just fine... i've been able to put files on it in the past just by dragging it into the folder. all of a sudden, today, i deleted songs to make room for new songs but after i delete a song, i can't put a new one one it, claiming that the memory is full. When I check properties, the memory *is* full but the #MB that the folder shows in the lower right corner says an amount that is WAY less than full. I have no idea how to fix this, please help!

Hi, i know this is a super late response so i hope you already found the solution to it... if not, i just had the same problem and i figured out that u need to format ur mp3 player. it erases EVERYTHING on it.

plug ur mp3 player into ur computer. Go to My Computers. Right click the drive, click "Format" and now everything should be wiped clean!
