Hello there, i have recently bought an old VHS comedy Videotape (PAL).I bought this because the comedy is not available on DVD, & I wanted to transfer the videotape to DVD for a christmas present for someone. However the videotape's audio is'nt all that great. The picture is ok & the audio is loud & clear which is great but i keep getting distortion on the audio ( loud sharp cracks ) which does spoil the enjoyment of the viewing. I have transfered the tape to DVD, but the distortion is present on the DVD as well. Is there anyway i can reduce this distortion/crackles so to make a decent copy to dvd ? Any help would be much appreciated - Simon.
