I ve problem when i try to shut down my lenovo G550 2958 laptop.Pls help...

    Thanks reyjoshua07. The actual problem is if I shut down my laptop, it displays the message "windows is shutting down" on a blue screen. It is incomplete and it remains as such. to turn off completely Ive to press the off button continously. And sometimes when I try switch on the whole system gets hanged, and I've to press the off button continously and switch on again. This way I've to so 2 to 3 times sometime. Pls help it's really annoying. And with regards to dismantling laptop am really afraid to remover battery n other stuff. Can u tel me whats wrong with my laptop and it's solution pls

Hi knabeela86,

What is the problem that you are encountering when shutting down the computer?

Try also to perform power drain it might help.

How to perform power drain:

1. Turn off the computer completely.

2. Take out the battery from the system and remove the AC adapter.

3. Press and hold down the power button for 10 - 15 seconds.

4. Put back in the battery and AC adapter then try to power on the computer.
