Setting The Clock

I get the "Clock Priority Mode" but how the heck do I know if Im IN that mode???? I got the Alpine CDE 9841 and no book. (It came in the car I bought)

So how do I know if Im in the right mode? I can get the display to work when the key is on but the radio is off. I tried holding the TITLE key for at least 2 secs but nothing happened. Im at a loss. Any suggestions??

Set the display to time by pressing the tittle button. once time is displayed, press tittle button and hold until the time starts blinking. now adjust hour using arrow keys. now press mode once and use arrow keys for adjusting minutes. press mode again. now the time is set.
