How can I disable my actiontect GT704WGR wireless setting?

Verizon personnel has enable the wireless setting of my modem actionteck GT704WGR 2 days ago. Now I would like to disable it because I will use my new router. How can I do it?

you can login to the Actiontec modem by typing the ip address of actiontec modem in the address bar of Internet explorer...
It will open the interface of actiontec modem...
In the Interface of actiontec modem you will have option for wireless...
If you look under wireless setting you will be having the wireless mode as 802.11b/g/n or just B/G/N....

Change this wireless mode to OFF...
Thats it you are done...

By default the ip address of action tec is 192.168.0.1
