If you can see the Pictures of your camera on your MAc then the driver is not an issue, try to find the folder where the videos has been saved, it normally named as Video folder, it may be hidden, trun the folder properties to unhide
other option is use card reader for transfer of data

Here's something that works for me....I make a folder on the desktop and label it "video". Then, I put the card in a card reader and insert it into my Mac. An icon appears on the screed usually called "no name". I double-click to open it and drag and drop the videos into the folder. From there, I can work with them in iMovie or just watch them in Quicktime.
