Yeah, RAM is compatible with desktop PCs. Which RAM is compatible depends on your motherboard.
When purchasing RAM make sure ram modules are of the same brand any type
IE corsair ddr3 low density or hynix high density ddr2 you should always try to keep the same brand and type of ram

and always place the largest ram module closest the CPU central processing unit
