When i open the micro sd drive it says format and when i do so it says windows was unable to format the drive

try to format it using ur phone.. if still showing sum error thn card is corrupted.. it will be replaced

the problem with this memory card is that they can be easily damaged or corrupted, sometimes if you just insert it in-correctly or take it out from your card reader without doing the proper procedure of romoving the device, it can be easily corrupted.

try to clean the bronze part of the memory card , try to clean it with eraser the wipe it dry.It is not 100% solution but worth of trying

i cannot access my 2GB micro sd card in computer or phone, when i opened it from computer i get message card need to be formated but when i start to format card windows says unable to format this device. please help me.

SOURCE: my micro sd do not

just go to
right click on my computer>manage>storage>disc management(local)
from there right click on your memory card and try .

or else

go to cmd(command promt)
then type as coted

"cd\
format M: [or whatever your memory card drive symbol is ]
it will be formatted .
