I have the user guide already. can you be a little more specific about what is wrong?
Make sure the time and date shown in the device is correct, also check that the date and time is correct in your device.
In your computer*
If the date and time are correct in both devices try updateing the software in the gps
from here

You will most likely have to set up the device again after the update, I may be wrong.
If a update didn't solve the problem check if there is updated version of the pc software available

If the problem still isn't solved drop me a comment and Il look into it more.
I contacted the guys at garmin to see if there was another solution - they suggested the same thing. Il let you know if there is any other fix to the problem.
Can you tell me what date you see on the garmin?
