I am currently trying to diagnose an error code on a ge mini split model number AS1RD18DA0G1 (this is a unit from the year 2000) on this system,on a call for cooling,the indoor unit opens the louvers,the fans do not start,nor does the outdoor section come on,The louvers then close ,and the power button light blinks an 8 flash warning code.I have called GE service(ironically,the number is on the side of the unit)They have no records of any diagnostics,and tell me there's noone there to simply tell me what the 8 flash code is.The control board in the outdoor section is blinking a normal green heartbeat.GE can't help me,can you??
