I need a screen for the lapta laptap for a compaq c 700

Go down to the line that starts with Compaq Presario 1100, then go across to > C700, and click on it.

This is a PDF file. After you click on C700 you may not see anything happening for up to 30 seconds. The file is downloading in the background.

After you see the first page come up, I suggest you let the file download all the way before looking through it.

Page 55 - Display assembly

1) Work on a table

2) Observe Anti-Static Precautions.

3) Use a multi-compartment container for the various screws you will remove.
Mark the compartments for the area the screw/s came out of.
Do NOT mix them up!

If no multi-compartment container is available, you can use a clean egg carton. Mark the egg holders.

4) When you remove the LCD screen, look at the back. Write down the manufacturer name, and part number. Match it up to the one you're going to buy. Make SURE it it is the correct size.
(The screen is measured diagonally. From corner to corner)

If the screen is dark, and there is no apparent physical damage to it, do not assume the problem is the LCD screen.

Laptop on use a flashlight to see if you can see faint images.
If so, 90 percent of the time the problem is a bad Inverter.

A small circuit board located at the bottom of the Display assembly, and behind the Bezel.
MUCH cheaper than an LCD screen.
