Hold the info key for second until the message onf the channel info with signal strenght and etc and then you click ok and you are out of teletext.

You have to turn the TV off and back on again. It's the only way.
Samsung TV UI is pretty ****. There is no way to turn off the teletext once you turn it on; it toggles between 3 states: teletext, split view, and then TV (except there is always that damned p100 sitting in the top left of the screen!) and you won't be able to use the normal menu button or anything. Retarded. Who designs these **** UIs??

The teletext button on the remote control handset, has usually a toggle action. One press for on and another press for off.

you should press the home button of your teletext page usually its 100
or you could press one of the four colored buttons o your remote control unit so it will reset to the home page of the teletext
(a black page mostly says that teletext isn't available to the specific channel )

The teletext board in that set is an add on and as such if it is taken out the set will work happily without it and as teletext no longer exists in the UK, not a problem. When the set is switched on without the panel, the microprocessor will see there is no board because it won't get the hand shake and perform as though it were a 42WH08B

Teletext is embedded in the Analag signal, and HDMI is digital.
Try a lead that can carry analog signals, such as a SCART lead.
