Hello, My name is pradeep and i have lenovo thinkpad t500 with windows 7, 3gb ram and had 2 graphics cards 1) Mobile chipset family from intel 2) ATI radeon HD 3650. i enabled ati.two days before there was some start up problems so i performed a disk check on my master drive...today when i opened a game it showed inadequate graphics. so i checked my device manager and in the display tab i found ATI radeon option missing..So what to do now how can i get my lap to work in proper condion again.....pls help....thank you

indeed you are having and ATI chip beneath the keyboard. (a BGA 256 ball ATI Mobility) Unfortunately due to rights the laptop manufacturers are developing the graphic drivers and not ATI so these drivers you found are at best totally incompatible.

Go to this Link from HP and download ZE 5185 model that you own - Also you will find manuals and all other drivers for the laptop.

(Select your operating system - The Driver in included in the whole driver package (sound,etc) Pls check the description.(the size should be around 42mb)

Here is the ATI driver page on the Lenovo support site. They list the XP driver for your model. Download and reinstall to see if this solves your problem. If you get errors or if you are not running XP please post beneath this thread with additional info so I can follow up with you...
