I am sure that the fuse on the control board blew. This fuse is located before the cord connects to the control board.

There is a fuse inside the microwave that blew.
To change the fuse you will have to remove the cover of the microwave, find the fuse, usually right where the power cord enters, and replace the fuse...
It could have blown from age a low voltage situation, or a bad component... I would try to run it before replacing the cover...but make sure not to run it empty.

Sharp microwave R-820BK-F, S/N 77507 2007,
The appliance is 3 years old, when I pushed 'start' it started (1/10 second)then stopped like a breaker was tripped. there is nothing wrong with ele. outlet or cord and there is no fuse or reset that I can get to. The cover is attached by non-accessible screws.
