Here are the steps for cleaning the printheads on that printer copied from:

Step two: Run the clean print cartridges utility

In HP Solution Center, click Settings , click Print Settings , and then clickPrinter Toolbox .
NOTE:
You can also open the Printer Toolbox from the Print Properties dialogbox. In the Print Properties dialog box, click the Services tab, and then click Service this device .

In the Printer Toolbox , on the Device Services tab, click Clean the Print Cartridges .

Follow the on-screen instructions. Up to three levels of cleaning are available. Discard or recycle the page that prints.
