I have a Soltek SL-75MRN motherboard that won't boot. I just get a long beep which is repeated and nothing on the screen. I have reset the cmos, but there is no change. I have tried to boot up from my Window XP cd but still just get the beep.
Hello,
This long continuous beep is usually the ram. Try taking out the memory and cleaning it with a piece of dry cloth and reseating it back. If that still doesn't help, you might need a new ram module.
