Display problem I use nokia n70. The display has suddenly gone bad. The screen's
resolution has gone bad and it shows the images as if they were sand
images. The screen is split into two horizontally with the bottom part
appearing on the top. I tried upgrading the firm ware but this didnot
solve the problem. Any suggestions please Thanks, Naren
I had the same problem with mine. It would be OK for a second or so after going to a new screen, then the bottom section would repeat itself over the top of the display. Otherwise the phone seemed to work fine. Now several months later the display has gone totally blank making the phone completely unusable. I tried dismantling the phone with instructions from another website to make sure it wasn't just a bad connection somewhere, but there was no improvement. I'm leaning toward getting a replacement screen module from eBay for about $70, but I'm not sure if that is where the problem lies.I had the same problem with mine. Upgrading firmware on your own is not safe, you should take it to a repair/service center and they will flash it for you. if this problem is not solved after flashing, then the phone hardware should be looked at
