My answering got wet and started beeping. It will not stop beeping. Help

What brand and model number is your Answering machine?
Some circuit is shorted due to the wetness and there is a virtual connection made which is connecting two leads which should not the connected so it is beeping
disconnect and try to open the cover ,make it dry n then connect

Try unplugging it and opening it up and gently blow drying it and try to avoid getting it too hot. Let me know how this goes and if it doesn't stop, then please let me know the make and model of the machine.
