People seem to have a problem getting the Woods 59377 programmed.
Solutions have been posted but nobody posted back and said, oh, that's what happened, and here's what to do. So without feedback, it's hard to say where the problem is for sure.
After looking at the programming steps myself several times, I believe the most confusing part is the 'blocks of days.' As a result, people may be entering a 'conflict' in their ON OFF times.
For example, if program 1 says ON at 7 and OFF at 8 for certain days, but program 8 says the opposite, then the timer will not function as expected.
The suggested solution is to make a chart of ON OFF times before programming. And then carefully watching the screen for prompts to make sure each ON time has an OFF time.
