Call transfer problem between Philips VOIP8411B and Plantronics C65 headset

I have registered my Plantronics C65 headset as an additional 'handset' with my VOIP8411B base unit. I know the headset is registered because I can take an incoming call on it.

The problem I'm having is that I cannot transfer a call from the VOIP8411B handset to the Plantronics headset. Nor can I make in intercom call. If I try an intercom call, the handset gives me the error "Unavailable". If the headset currently has the line open, the handset will give me the error "Busy" so obviously it knows something about what the headset is doing.

Both devices are DECT/GAP compatible. Philips support are trying to fob me off by saying the handset doesn't support exernal headsets, but I think that's rubbish. As long as the headset is DECT/GAP, it should just work!!

Please help :)
Thanks

I've got exactly the same problem. What is sure is that it comes from the Philips, as I tried to register the headset to another DECT/GAP base (sagem D86C) and everything work fine...

So, waiting for a solution, I just can answer to incoming calls... I wonder if I'm not gonna return the VOIP841... :-s

Sounds simple in the manufacture hand book that came with head set
states on some models they have this particular compatible mode built in
depending on specs of phone and headset gotta make sure that they were built with these built in specs and not all dect/gap work with other sets
