SOURCE: how to change the battery on my BE365-CAM-716 Schlage Keypad Deadbolt

Problem fixed by having my wife look it up on the Schlage website. The deadbolt has a flash memory so your combinations and codes will not be lost when the batteries are changed.

SOURCE: I have the same kind of problem

Restore the lock first

1.disconnect battery
2.press and release the SCHLAGE button
3.reconnect the bat and wait until SCHLAGE is no longer lit.
4. within 10 sec, press and hold SCHLAGE until SCHLAGE lights green and the lock beeps.

The lock is back to factory now.
Now add your user code.

Adding a new user code
DPC is-digit programming code
DUC is digit user code
Yellow sticker has factory 6 digit programming and 4 digit user code on it.

1. 6DPC push SCHLAGE, push 1, enter 4DUC twice.

this lock will only take 2 user codes.

Hope this helps. Leave feedback for others if it helps
