The problem is I have looked all over the internet and singer and still cannot find a book of instruction for this machine, what is the problem why is there not a book out there for this machine....I have not suggestion or solution.......I need one!

Sounds like spring or something disconnected from the lever. Take it in to your dealer or look at yourself carefully.

Sounds like your needle is inserted backwards, remember flat side faces the rear of the machine, and your threading is not right, rethread and test the thread by pulling it with the presser foot up
