You have a locked phone with a specific provider. The only way to get your phone unlocked and use it with another provider is to secure/request a SIM subsidy unlock code through your provider (whoever issued the phone).

To have your phone unlocked you can do it for free by calling the Wireless Carrier that originally sold the phone (you can find out who this is by looking for the carrier logo that is on the outside of the phone) when you call them be prepared to provide you IMEI (IMEI- International Mobile Equipment Identifier, This can be located behind the battery, on the box for the phone, or my dialing *#06#) and they will be able to give you the code and unlock steps

You can get samsung sgh-t429 unlock code from many source. First from your network provider, call them and request that unlock code but you must have a good standing account with them at least for 6 month. They also take charge from you for that unlock code. Second, you can buy samsung unlock code from third party sites. Good luck!
