I just bought a sandisk cruzer micro 4gb and can't get it to save anything. I've never used a flash drive before and it came with no instructions. I am using windows xp.

Should show up in "My Computer" as a removable drive with letter designator. Then it is simply a matter of drag and drop to copy files using the mouse. If XP doesn't recognize the drive, put it in another USB port, and or try it on another computer. If it doesn't show up then, take it back to the store.

Does it give you an error? Perhaps you have to format it again. They come formatted, but you never know. Open MY COMPUTER, Right-click on the Cruzer (whatever drive it happens to be) and select FORMAT from the options. When the window pops up, give it a name (if you like) and make sure you format it as NTFS.
