A guy from Walmart told me to try the Philips one. It is a SRU3004WM/17. It is limited but I could operate my SOURCE from the input button and navigate to the recording settings from the sleep button. I don't use the tuner, just A/V ins from my tv. The code listed didn't work but the manual search did. It was like the 310th time I pushed the power button. This is the first remote in 3 years, Ive tried that worked at all on this unit. Maybe some other philips models work? I can't seem to find an eject on this one. At least it works as this unit is worthless without a remote. /Sick of returning remotes that don't work.
Have been looking for a spare universal remote for 2 years. None have worked even ones Guaranteed to work on all brands. Have you tried a Learning remote contol? I'm tempted to try, they might work but cost more then what I gave for my ILO at the pawn shop.
