Burned pot I received the Rival 38501 for Christmas and have used it only 4 times, Every setting is too hot and brings whatever is inside to a boil/burn. I read one suggestion and tried fillining it to the top but the food on the bottom still burned and top liquid came to a boil. I am sure after 5 months it's too late to return it to the store where it was purchased so has anyone got a suggestion? Thank You
I have a similiar problem, even on lowest setting, it still burns or has a rolling boil. I have tried more liquid, spraying with Pam and rubbing oil on inside. It Still seems too hot! I don't feel comfortable leaving it all day.I have a similiar problem, even on lowest setting, it still burns or has a rolling boil. Yes
a ceramic or clay pot is the only solution.steel is hopeless for casseroles
same as frying eggs in a steel frypan without the teflon coating
only true stainless steel is advisable
