Screen A black discoloration has occurred in the upper right corner of my screen. Streaks of very fine color lines have appeared down the left side of my screen. Is this repairable or have I reached the end of my prized Toughbook CF-W2?

Your LCD screen is broken this occurs from dropping the lcd or putting too much force/pressure on it. The black discoloration is is the liquid crystal leaking. It is repairable but the question is do you want to spend the money to repair it. A new lcd will cost you around $350+. You can also check ebay they might have compatible LCDs that might work for a lot less. According to the specs you need to took for a 12.1" 1024*768 XGA TFT Standard aspect lcd screen but beware not all LCDs with those specs will work. If your interested I am experienced in replacing laptop screens.
