Press TOOLS (the spanner symbol at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Press SETTINGS (the spanner symbol top left corner)
Press LANGUAGE (the lips symbol)
You'll get a screen with 3 items. VOICE LANGUAGE, TEXT LANGUAG and KEYBOARD LAYOUT.
Press each one in turn, or which ever you need to change, and select ENGLISH or if you're in the USA select AMERICAN ENGLISH. This should solve your problem.
