It is a new Saeco Odea Go machine. Every time I turn it on the indicator lights flash up and down successively and a half inch of water comes out of the coffee spout. The light is then in the ready position and I can make a cup of coffee. I know this is not normal. What's going on? thanks

campbellfam5, when you buy a machine that is a little more complex than a wheel... you HAVE to read the user's manual^^... and at least when you get your inevitable first problem, and before asking for some help on the internet. If you don't read the manual, how the hell can you "know this is not normal"... Just by your own mind and perfect knowledge??... The process you mention is clearly described word to word in the basics of the manual as a perfectly normal process. A process that will occur each time you TURN OFF your machine and ON again, but won't after a simple stand-by.
