    I FIRST USED THIS ACER PC THE SOUND WAS WORKING GREAT. i TRIED TO HOOK UP DIFFERENT SPEAKERS. KNOW I HAVE NO SOUND,AND I GET A CODE 10 CANNOT START.I TRIED THE ORIGINAL SPEAKERS WITH NO LUCK. PLEASE HELP I TRIED EVERYTHING

Yes you can update the driver yourself and it does sound like it is a driver problem. In device manager right click on your device and click on Install Driver. That will take care of the problem. But, you need a wireless router, the DHCP server of your ISP will not issue an IP address to a host only a router. The router has an IP address that is broadcast and issues private addresses for the host computers.
