Hi oliver - do this:
1)Boot in Safe Mode (Turn on pc,start hitting F8 key. This will take you boot option menu. Highlight Safe Mode and hit ENTER.)
2)After Welcome screen, screen should come up with your name and Administrator.Choose Administrator.(Most WinXP systems don't have a password for Administrator).
3)Go to Start>control panel>user accounts.(you'll probably have to double click in Safe Mode.)
4)Click on your account.
5)Click on change password or remove password, your choice. If chose change password, look on the left side and there is a tool:prevent loss of password. This will guide you through making a pssword disk in case this happens again. Reboot in normal mode.
6)If chose reset password, you'll have to enter password. If you chose remove,it will just boot up all the way through.
If this takes care of your problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. If it did not work, DO NOT RATE yet. Just add a comment letting me know that you need more help and I'll be happy to assist you further. Thanks. Have a nice day.
