Same issue I have had my tv for roughly 11 months now and it has started losing picture randomly. I have read all that i could find on the internet and your repair recommendations sound the best. I have very loud speakers with heavy bass in close proximity to the tv. Could this be a reason for the inverter board coming lose? Did you have a similar situation? Also, if i attempt to disassemble the set do you think you could instruct me on locating and removing the lose part? Thanks

Yes, I had this problem too. Finally got it fixed. Apparently there is a Sharp "Bulletin" about this problem. And you're going to laugh when I say it has to do with a handful of washerless screws. I had a tech come by, (after 2 previous failed repair attempts) who finally knew what the problem was. He ordered the screws (have self-locking washers) and came back a week later. He replaced the screws onsite, and it's been fine ever since. I don't have the work order on me, but I'll try to come back tonight and put in the name of the part that needs the screws, and the part # for the screws. But saying "Bulletin" should be enough .. any decent tech should be able to look it up.
